Welcome Shannon Boone as Executive Director

Please join the Harvest of Hope Board of Directors in welcoming Shannon Boone as our next Executive Director of Operations. Shannon is moving into this role due to the retirement of our current EDO Melissa Ogden.

Shannon comes to us with a strong skill set and much experience, which is an excellent fit with the mission of Harvest of Hope. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts & Design from James Madison University with a focus in Public Relations. She has worked in television news, customer relations & sales, and in ministry. Shannon has extensive experience coordinating volunteers and working with those who are food-insecure. For the past five years, Shannon volunteered weekly at the Friendship Kitchen in Parkersburg. She also coordinated the Miracle of Giving, a large volunteer effort of North Parkersburg Baptist Church, to distribute food boxes, winter clothing, and other essential resources, to families in need.

Shannon lives in Williamstown with her husband Aaron and their two daughters, Grace and Reese.
